Fabric Flower Clothespins

Hello friends!  This week is spring break at the CCHomestead and I almost forgot I should keep on top of posting.  Today, I'm sharing my pretty floral clothespins.  Remember the tease I gave you awhile ago about staining them?

I made these fabric flowers to use on garland for Healthy Chick's baby shower.  They are so pretty, I needed to find another use for them.  Purely by accident, I came up with this--a colorful, festive addition to an Easter basket.

 (First seen here.)

I used the tutorial found at ali foster patterns.  We (Fun-Size Chick helped) traced the rim of a glass (about 2" dia.) and used five circles per flower.  The baby fabric is thinner, so we really could have used six on those.  I was really thinking about pinning them around a circular piece of cardboard to make a wreath.

While they were waiting to be made into a wreath, I tossed them in a basket--then I clipped them on the edge...  This is what evolved.

The carrots are from Tuesday Morning--I was, I was, I was, going to make some myself, but these were so cute and at such a good price, I couldn't, and didn't, resist.
