Snuggle in with a cone of freshly popped popcorn and see what I tried to pull off over here. When I first saw the photo in one of the current Pottery Barn catalogs, I knew I had to mark it, as it was destined for Copy Cat-hood.
Mine
Pottery Barn's
Poofy green flowers, check; old camera, check; round thing, check (okay, their's is a film reel, but mine's round just the same); scattered pillows (they have a gray one behind the popcorn--my blue one is dusty, so that "counts"), blue ray dvd, well, you get the idea...
The elephant pillow is "new." I had made the cover ages ago, but it was opened on one side with no ties. I pulled out my handy seam-binding gadget and made red plaid binding and ties, as well as, a blue-ish plaid pillow insert. (If you would like to order a custom slip-covered pillow, please email me.) Instructions for slip-covered pillow here.
The camera was my dad's and is about 50 yrs. old. The popcorn cones are made with the width of wax paper and 1/4 page of the newspaper rolled into a cone--how fun are they?!

One last look. Ha ha, as comfy as Pottery Barn's! And, I just realized while looking at the photos--I have plenty of M-plaques over here, I should have thrown one in the arrangement, since theirs has an M on the throw. Next time.

Do any of you realize how nasty newspaper is? The print smells and comes off on everything! Yet you would feed your families off of it. Ick.
