I took a trip to TJs, whaddaya think? The lantern in the middle on the bottom is for a candle, but I thought I could frost the main part of the glass bowl and wire 'er up. Now that I'm looking at the photos, I'm thinking the bottom left one isn't quite right.
In my previous post, I shared that I'm giving my lanai/patio a facelift. It will go in the corner shown below. The lovely lamp that is there was
Ugh! I haven't neglected this space, oh no. I can't even believe I'm showing you this "before!" It should make the after look soooo much better! The denim chair in the corner is a start--first shown on my previous post.
On it's own, I like the woven lamp and I thought the white one would look the best in this space, since the furniture fabric is so white. The blue would go with denim, but it really takes the space nautical... Give me your opinion and let the lamp shopping begin!
As much as I like the blue one the most, I must admit it's not the best one for that particular space. I would go with the last one. Blends in nicely with your setup.
ReplyDeleteI think you're right; the white one may be best for the space. But I *like* the one with the burlap-y shade best!
ReplyDeleteI need to go to Home Goods for sure. Love the wicker one and the white one.
ReplyDeleteI like the top left woven one. It would bring the wicker chair colour to that corner and looks substantial enough for there too.
ReplyDeleteThey all look wonderful. I think I like the wicker and the wood one on the bottom best. Can't wait to see the room. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteHmm......I'm leaning toward the white lamp with the square shade. Makes the cushions look less isolated with their light color and the shape of the shade is more 'guy'ish. Whatever you choose will be great looking.
ReplyDeleteI like the two on the left best...wicker/woven and the one with the burlap shade.

I agree about the white lamp. Altho, when I first looked at the lamps I liked the woven one but in that space white seems to me the best choice.
ReplyDeleteI think I would go with the blue to bring the chair color over to that side of the room.
ReplyDeleteGood luck. I know that whatever you choose will look great in the finished room!
Bottom right white, although I really like the bottom left, just not for that space...if it were me I'd buy all of them, take them home, find which one fits, and return the rest...unless of course I found another area that could use a lamp....
ReplyDeleteI like the wicker lamp
ReplyDeleteI'm really lovin' the wicker one. If a football gets thrown, it wouldn't break! :~)

I like the wicker and the lamp with the linen print lampshade.
ReplyDeleteI like the wicker as the first choice and the white as the second choice. Like the handles on the white lamp.
ReplyDeleteLinking over from Funky Junk.
Well, I just watched the Nate Berkus show that I recorded this week and the topic was timeless furnishings and he talked about lamps. He said one like the white one without the handles is timeless, but we don't want it to last forever! We like to switch it up every few years, so I say go with something that is unusual and then you get to do it all over again in a few years

The wicker one is my favorite. It looks oval from the picture. I like that it's a different shape.
ReplyDeleteI have to go with what #13 said! The wicker but change out the shade to the printed burlap!
ReplyDeleteI love the wicker basket one - I want it for myself. How much was it? Oh My goodness I just love it. I think I will be heading out to TJ Maxx tomorrow to see if they have one. I like the white ceramic one, too.
ReplyDeleteMy best- Diane
I would choose the top left wicker one. The white shade would bring out the white in the furniture, but still give it some interest since the whole lamp is not white.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm sure you've decided by now, but I LOVE the wicker lamp.....which ever you decide will look lovely:)Blessings~~Shine
