Hi friends, these aren't the best photos, please bare with me. I just didn't want to retake everything. I've going to be going out of town to sing tomorrow morning and will be gone till late Friday, so I'm in a bit of a time crunch.
I'm not really a bunting girl. Really. But then it happened...
I was looking at this ledge from my earlier post and was thinking that a little fabric here would be soooo nice...the world's smallest runner? Then I decided on a bunting. Interrupted. See what I mean? Only one flag. Flip photo below, roll mouse over. Note, spacing gets messed up.
I whipped up two single bunting flags for my frames--I guess I can call them frame buntings, right?
I cut a triangle of burlap (I was thinking about doing all toile with ruffles to coordinate with the runner, but I wanted to keep from viering into the Land of Precious.) and appliqued a triangle of toile onto it. That looked kind of plain, so I added a rose made with a scrap.
You can see I attached them by tying the jute cord to the frame wire.
I guess I can be a bunting girl. For awhile.
I'm hanging my bunting with these blogs:
Love it. It is wonderful. I love the burlap in the back with the toile, and the rose is perfect. Gorgeous wall and beautiful vignette. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of my husband and I! He's the toile, I'm the burlap! LOL!
