About a week and a half ago, I was NOT going to go to the thrift store. After I got to the thrift store I was NOT going to buy a bird.
After I found a bird, I was definitely NOT going to pick up a basket. I was also NOT getting a candlestick and for sure I was NOT snagging a large carved bowl.
Okay, maybe, just maybe, I'll get an unfinished letter M to do something crafty with. For the record, I did NOT spend about $8 on everything. Ooo, can you NOT see all of the possibilities here?
I'm pretty sure I will NOT be linking with:
Although I am drooling, I do NOT like a single thing you found! ;-)

ReplyDeletelooks like some good deals, a longerberger basket????
ReplyDeleteLove your finds too- and I am just IN LOVE with that bird!!! It is so pretty. I heard somewhere that it's good luck to have birds in your home (supposed to be a good wedding gift I think- to bring the couple luck) I think it is so pretty. Be blessed, karyl =0)

ReplyDeleteOh, Kim! I WISH I had your gift for humor and posting! Thanks for making me laugh this morning! I've told myself I'm NOT thrifting these days. I have to do something with the things I already have!

Gee, perhaps you should make a list for all of the things you're NOT going to get. That way, you won't forget any!

ReplyDeleteWonderful finds. Like you, I will stop and have myself convinced NOT to purchase anything. NOT going to happen.

Great deals for $8.00. I'm glad you did NOT buy them.
ReplyDeleteyou are so funny, but I have those days too. It's a good thing it happened at the thrift store and not at some expensive hobby store, lol.
ReplyDeleteYou either take the best pictures or that is really great looking stuff. I think it's a little of both!
ReplyDeleteI am in love with your bird, Kim. Beautiful. I definitely don't need to go to the thrift store myself...
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you forced yourself to NOT buy these things, Kim! : ) My past couple of trips to Goodwill I have kept an open mind {for myself}, but this last trip I did specifically go looking for lamps with my daughter. I'm actually surprised we found anything because when you are looking for something specific you don't usually find it there!
