Fabric Fun Thursday No. 18

Once again, it was so difficult to select feature projects.  Everyone does such a fantastic job.

If you're a Facebook follower, you know I've started making draperies for my loft.  I think it's going to be one of those projects that thinking about it is worse then actually doing it.  Enough about me, let's see what you've been up to:

Beverly from Flamingo Toes always has great projects up her sleeve.  This week is no different.  This fun Halloween bowl of eyeballs project is no sew.  She even shows us an easy way to run fabric through the printer.  I personally {heart} that!

Less Than Perfect Life of Bliss's, Julie, made this burlap banner which is also no sew.  She even used those cute mini closepins to clip the flags to her jute.

Lorri from Fabric, Paper, Thread's entry was this ingenious doily burlap runner. I really like how it combines the rustic (burlap) and refined (doilies) to make an interesting runner.

Cori at Starview Sonnet used burlap for dresser drawers.   I especially {heart} that she painted clock faces around the knobs.  That girl is creative!

Remember, these don't have to be items you've made yourself.  Pretty rooms, great deals, vintage finds that contain fabric all count!

The fine print:

Link up rules. Please be a sweetheart and...

1. Link your post, not your general URL. (Click on the title of your post. Copy and paste from your address bar.)

2. Link to this blog with my FFT button or refer to this event in your post so others can join in the fun or I'll have to send blogging gremlins over to come and haunt your blog.  If I can't find a reference to FFT I'll have to delete your entry--please don't make me hunt all over for it, if I can't find it, others will not be able to either.  I really hate to do this!

3.  Please no direct Etsy or store links.  If you are showing us how to do something, then putting it in your store, that's fine.

4. DO YOU LOVE COMMENTS?  Please try to visit three other links and leave a comment.  You'll be glad you did--there is so much talent out there.

Thank you SO much for featuring my Time Worn dresser...what an honor!

I'm happy to say that it sold in just a few days and now the second dresser done in a similar style has sold yesterday. I think I'm on to something.

love your Fun Fabric link party...entered another set of table today. Burlap can really bring some of those tired pieces into today's market.

    Best,
