Look what I got to do without spending an extra dime right now! I was able to put a fall spin on my hutch decor. (It's still in the 90os here. Oy!)
I discovered some fun finds. All... Around... The house...
Weee, I forgot I had these plates stored in this basket on top of the entertainment center. I wasn't going to use this pale blue for fall, but another "weeee" they have fall-colored fruit on them which would go really well with a pumpkin...let's see where would I find one of those?
You'll recognize a lot of the whites from the last hutch post. See how my finds eased it into fall?
Concentrate--Pumpkin, pumpkin. Oh yes! This milk glass pumpkin was packed away in the pantry.
And this mix of potpourri and "shredded wheat" fruit (below) were purchased at the thrift store for a couple of dollars sometime this summer because of the beautiful blue color and textures.
The glass hurricane - you guessed it - also stashed in the pantry. (That's one packed pantry!)
Aww, mini butter cloche, which you've seen before, is still cute as can be refilled with potpourri. Hey, that rhymes.
I almost forget the top, my little bust got some dollar store beads (oops, I did buy something) shown with my--ooo la la--juggling pin. I don't usually do two "beauty posts" back-to-back, I'd better get crackin' at some projects! Another plus? I get to link up with Donna's robin's egg blue link party this weekend, too! Edited to add: I got Marty's "okay" to link this with her fun cloche day.

I just love your fall hutch! The dishes with the blue are gorgeous and since I enjoy the unexpected, I just had to tell you how well the touches of blue *go* :)

I love how all the white in your hutch allows the fall decor to burst through and take over-looks great!
ReplyDeleteI am in love with that first photo. Very pretty. Isn't it fun to change stuff around that you already?
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I wish I could see the entire hutch. I have a black hutch and change it out constantly. Right now I am working on Halloween.

ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I know it's hard to decorate for fall when it's still so hot outside! We've had a small cool front so I'm a little more in the fall mood! Beautiful job!

Good Stuff! I just added pine cones (free ~ way to many pine trees here) to a 3 wick candle display in my dining room. After viewing yours I think I need a third color in the display though ... kinda blah now.
ReplyDeleteYour hutch looks great. I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around the fact that I need to start decorating for fall. I'm not looking forward to giving up on summer. So I'll be holding out for bit longer.
