Candy Wrapper Fun and a GIVEAWAY

Oh!
I can't wait to tell you about the candy wrapper fun I've been having.  Have you heard of Put A Wrap On It?  Brenda, from Put A Wrap On It contacted me to see if I would be interested in trying her customized candy wrappers.  Well, let me think for a minute, YES!  You know how much the Cheap Chic Homies love our candy projects, like the candy tower and lollipop bouquet.   I requested wrappers for mini chocolate bars in the charlotte white design.  This is what I received from Brenda:
The fun was on to see what I could do with these.  Above (you know, way above) I used a round plate with a bowl in the middle.  Check out how it was put together.

The white wrappers didn't show up as much as I would have liked on my white plate, so I took a standard square red paper napkin and folded it two more times (in half and half again to make a triangle-type wedge).  Then I scalloped the top edge and bottom edge to give it a soft floral shape.
Here it is unfolded.  (How easy was that??  Only two snips.)  Now look at it on the plate:

Can you believe it turned out so well!?  I couldn't.  On to the floral lover-lies - I knew I wanted to try pavé -ing the flowers.  I found an inexpensive bunch at the grocery store and trimmed them down to about a 1" stem and had some oasis in my stash.  (Yes, I felt like Morticia!)

Pretty end result.

Oops, I forgot to show you what I started with, mini wrappers that show you exactly where to use your glue stick (no mistakes!), it is put on right over the existing wrap, I slid one out so you could see it:

Take a look at some other fun I had.
Switched out - there is a candle in the middle that got (oops) cropped out.
Switched up to all red pottery.

Using candlestick holders and petite serving dishes.

In a wine glass with a bit of curly ribbon...
This is what Brenda mailed to me -- this wrapper is on a large-sized bar and personalized (which you can have done, too).  Now for the fun stuff!  Would you like some personalized wrappers for your next party or occasion?  Oh, you really would!  These are great quality and look so much better in person than on your computer screen - if you can believe that (the chocolate bars are not included).  Brenda is letting me give away a

  2. oh how cool Kim! I've been doing candy wrappers and other favors for years. They're most requested for graduation parties, wedding favors and I once did a large corporate event!
Of course, I supply all the give-away favors for my husband's company to give to their reps and at trade shows! It's so much fun!

Love how you decorated the plate!

  7. Hey Kim. Don't the simplest things make the biggest difference. I love how that napkin really made it pop. I would have never thought of cutting it. And your flowers are beautiful.

Love the candy wrappers. I'd like to have the maddie patterned Happy Birthday wrappers. I could use those for so many people and they are so cool.
