I {heart} themes and I {double heart} challenges! Enter my own Weekend Smackdown! I have been watching my stacks of unfinished stuff, crafts, fabrics, and supplies grow. My challenge to myself is every weekend - I hope! - showcasing what I've gotten done from my pile. I'm adding a checkoff list on my sidebar so I can stay focused, and you all can help me stay focused! This week it's my completed tablecloth from my post, To Salvage or Not to Salvage. Remember this:
I got some good and thoughtful feedback. I ended up using a combination of sewing down the pleats and giving them a good pressing. I kind of came up with a middle-of-the-road design.
There are a total of eight pieces, four that are 18 1/2" wide and four that are about 5" wide (although only about 1 1/2" of the smaller pieces are showing).
I did press it around the seam before I put it on the table, although it's hard to tell here!
My new little vintage bunny from the antique store seems content.
One more shot - I don't think it looks overly grandma-y, do you? One Weekend Smackdown done! I'll be linking with my friend, Marty, at A Stroll Through Life for tabletop Tuesday. As well as:

i love this tablecloth and I really love the idea of the list, I might copy that if I ever get organized enough to make a list. One of the things that would be on my list if I had one would be a tablecloth like this for my dinning room table, one day maybe. I hope you are having a beautiful weekend.
