When I was looking for inspiration at the Dollar Store (yes, for Lindsay's challenge last week, what can I say, my brain was on overdrive), I saw a fuzzy, faux lambswool micro fiber cloth. I didn't get a photo of it uncut, but here is Miss Bun Bun, posing with the label. It was 24" x 16".
Next, I searched for a free pattern on line. I wanted one with some details (by that, meaning I didn't want it flat) although I did consider the ones that have been around blog land done in burlap. This pattern came from allcrafts.net, it's the Nutmeg bunny. I really don't know how much I enlarged the pattern, I hit the zoom in and it printed out on two pages with some overlap. It just fit on the "sheep skin". I had some pink and black felt for the ears and face, oh and stuffing, too.

Here she is inspecting the contents of the big basket. The headband is a baby headband, also from the Dollar Store. There were simple instructions for the jumper, too. Although, they said to glue it, I threw in a simple hem, did some gathering, but that was kind of loose, so she got a jute belt. The straps are really just tucked in - no sewing on those at all.Getting the egg in just so...
I guess she's done, she appears to be resting. This was really a pretty simple pattern. There was some fussing with the face. The feet look like the instruction photo, however, it's hard to tell in the shots here. Oh, and you've heard of a lop-eared bunny, she's more of a lopsided-ear bunny. Shhh, she's kind of sensitive about that...
Fun-Size Chick wanted to be a model (smile!).
