Sneaky Momma Blog Design

How to remove the lines from around your Header.
Full credit for the detailed info in this post goes to Sneaky Momma Blog Design.  I would have passed on this particular tip, but I've come upon several new bloggers who have, {polite cough, cough}, unusual-looking header and outline combinations. 



  • Find the 'Header' section in the HTML of your blog.
  • Refer to the image above and change the 1px (circled in red in two different places) to 0px.
  • Preview and save. 
It's worth checking out Sneaky Momma's blog, she has tips organized in beginner, intermediate and advanced categories for those of you who are amateur hackers like myself!  On the up side of the polite coughing, is I've seen m-a-n-y new outstanding newcomers to the blogging world, Welcome Ladies!

Oops, I almost forgot!  Please remove the word verifications from your comment sections!!  To do this, go to your "Settings" tab, then Comments, Word Verification.  Turn it off.  This will help encourage comments.  It's always a good idea to try commenting on your own post to see what your followers are experiencing.  (I got this tip early on from the Thrifty Decor Chick personally.)

    Thanks so much for the tips. It's great for us new bloggers. It's sort of trial and error for me. Still trying to work out how to have your name signed at the the bottom of your posts. Can you help with that? And also , how do we go about joing these groups, White wednesdays, etc etc. Thanks
