Consignment Shopping Fun!

Last week, I took

a few items

to my local furniture consignment store.
I am fortunate enough to have this little treasure just a few miles from my home.

Maria opened
Consign Dezign
in 2007.

She has been working in the consignment field for five years.

This is one of the finest furniture resale stores in the area.
Need Proof?

Consign Dezigns won Brandon's (FL)

1st Runner up for Best Local Furniture store.

Not resale store, peeps. Furniture store, period!

That's her at the counter, she's just as nice as she is cute!

Congratulations Maria & Herb (her very helpful husband and business partner)

I didn't leave without finding

a little something...

This dreamy metal daybed...

Doesn't it just make you want to curl up with a good book and a cup of tea?

Unfortunately, I am not keeping it for myself--boo hoo!

I am helping my mom redo several rooms in her house. (Keep checking back to see this bed show up in those transformations!)

Since we're at Maria's already,

let's take a look around.

Looking toward the front door of her shop.

A cozy seating arrangement.

The very cool daybed in the back of my minivan.

Waah, (that would be a crying sound) it doesn't look so cool right now!

Next stop: Setting this up at mom's!

  2. This is EXACTLY why I cannot go to consignment stores!!! Whenever anyone has something they need to get rid of that I like, I take it. But since I am a pack rat, I don't get rid of whatever it should be replacing! I would have to buy a new house just for my stuff. Hmmm, maybe I should get a consignment store of my own. Then I could admire from afar!
