Some Copying Fun

Hey!  I thought I'd take a little break from all of the major projects I've been working on, and join Debbie's magazine copy cat challenge over at Debbiedoos.  I had fun putting this little vignette together, and I could have hauled over my French settee that is patiently waiting in my "to do" lineup, but it's late afternoon, and I'm a bit pooped from everything else I've been doing today.

This flyer from Ethan Allen came in the mail today--which saved me from having to look through my own stash of mags.  Fortunately, for me, Artsy Chick doesn't mind helping me move my stuff around for a blog shoot.  So..., cart a side table from the family room, an ottoman from the foyer, dig out a mish-mosh of twigs, and--ya get a pretty good wanna be.  Since my colors are so much richer, I took down the saturation and pumped up the fill light on Picasa.

  19. Wow! I'm impressed with how closely your items resemble the ones in the flyer. Looks really pretty, Kim. So I guess this vignette was just for fun and everything has to go back to it's original home. Too bad. Looks really good together!
