Build Your Own Princesses

What goes on at your house during Spring break?  How would you like to have your own personal collection of custom princesses?  Home- and handmade?  This is what Fun-Sized Chick did this week and how you can make your own.
  1. Tag along with mom to JoAnn's
  2. Look round and round and not find any crafts you like
  3. Decide to check out the baking isles, 'cause "Gosh," you like baking a lot
  4. Finally decide on small doll picks
  5. At home put together a cake mix and bake it in small (oven safe) dessert dishes.
Now comes the fun part.  After they have cooled...

   6.  Elaborately decorate each one, using frosting, sprinkles and edible pearls:

Concentrate.  Hard.
Yellow for Belle.

Pink for Sleeping Beauty

Blue for Jasmine
There was an Ariel (redhead) in the mix, but she wasn't decorated as elaborately and got partly eaten.  Sorry, Ariel.

    7.  Ta da!  Enjoy your princesses!

  5. They're adorable! (and so are Fun Sized Chic's freckles) They'd be a super cute PJ party project!

@Jeanine: To make them into boys, you could get the "head only" picks and make the base the shoulders and torso. Maybe little football players? Just a thought...
