I thought I'd share a couple of "free" vases I have around here, as well as, create some matte photos...
These aren't really vases, of course. The pitcher on the right is a Mikasa lead crystal (if I remember correctly) pitcher that I gave my mother for a gift several years ago (the matching biscuit container is mysteriously missing). Yep, another moving acquisition.
I {heart} it with white roses, swoon.
The container on the left is supposed to look like an antique apothecary bottle of some sort. It's a French chocolate image from the Graphics Fairy. Now, it's not the fault of your monitor, or my substandard photography skills, the label is, indeed, blurry. I had just mod podged it on a used vanilla bottle and was putting water in it.
Carefully. Carefully. Aack! The water ran down the side and now it really looks like an antique. Disclaimer, I did
I'm hanging with my friends:

I think your images are dreamy! Roses would look beautiful in just about anything... but your upscale, french and old world vignette puts them over-the-top! The touch of the pink flowers pops!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty infused stop!

Of course I meant pitcher. The dentist worked me over today so I am going to blame my misspelling on him tonight.

How beautiful! I love white roses and they look gorgeous in the crystal pitcher. Thanks for the inspiration.
