Fabric Fun Thursday No. 28

Welcome to Fabric Fun Thursday's return after the holidays!  Wow, it seems like it's been a long while since we've gotten together.  I had to dig way back in the archives (ha!) to show you today's features.

First, a little detour.  I found this great idea through Donna's Saturday Nite Special link party.  Sweet Melissa, hung her homemade stockings on a ladder.  How cool is this, and just how many people are in her family?!

Now, for the rest of the features...

Beverly, from Flamingo Toes, is one of those talented ladies I could feature every week.  This is her knockoff Anthropologie hot air balloon ornament.

Robin from The Pink Peony of Le Jardin, submitted these trees.  If you have posterboard and any old scrap fabric, you can make them right now!  The tree how-to is at Everyday Mom Ideas.

Lastly, I'm going to feature the whole stinkin' blog, 'cause it's that good...

Mikey, from Shabby French Cottage showed off some of his Christmas displays using burlap and other fabric as the backdrop for all of his luscious shabby French decor.

Your turn:

Remember, these don't have to be items you've made yourself.  Pretty rooms, great deals, vintage finds that contain fabric all count!

The fine print:

Link up rules.
1.  Link your post, not your general URL. (Click on the title of your post.  Copy and paste from your address bar.)  This is important, I was going  to feature someone today, but they didn't link properly, so I didn't  want to sift through their last two weeks' of posts!

2. Be polite.  Link to this blog with my FFT button or refer to this event in your post so others can join in the fun.

3.   Please no direct Etsy or store links.  It's okay if you are showing us how to do  something, then putting it in your store.

4. DO YOU LOVE COMMENTS?  Please try to visit 3 other links and leave a comment.  You'll be glad you did--there are so many talented and friendly people to meet!

  10. Again, I may be stretching the fabric angle with this link but I think it's close enough! Thanks for being such a superb hostess!

  11. I love the features up top. Great ideas to store in my memory bank (if only it were that large -- haha). I also adore your heart tassel below. It's so sweet and a great tutorial to boot. Thanks for hosting the party this week. I love to show off my fabric items.
