Since I planned on participating in Marty's cloche day, I switched my hutch to white with touches of green. It needed a redo anyway since my July 4th decor was still there. Starting at the top is my bargain cloche from Tuesday Morning with my thrift store bust.
I {heart} the twig berry vine.
The chippy frame got moved from the top (since the July 4th post) and put in with the plates.
Two of these "plates" are the spray painted silver trays that were recently removed from the dining room wall. Do you remember them?
My mini cloche has boxwood sprigs in it ('cause nothing else would fit!). In front of another plate "poser."
Oh, I should have put another plate on this last shelf, I certainly have one.
This platter is forever banished to this spot--it's too large to fit into the upper shelves. The small dish that the artichoke is in is a soap dish--you guessed it--from the thrift store.
Another one of my dining room repurposed trays with my dollar store frame. I'm really happy with this vignette, you never know until you start moving things around and moving things around and moving things...
Check out the other cloche-buddy participants at Marty's (A Stroll Thru Life) party. I'll be linking with White Wednesday next week, too.
"spill it" love that and your creamy whites with your cloche...olive♥
ReplyDeleteLove the white! Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Hopefully, I'll get to the chair this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love what you did with the hutch. You may have pushed me over the edge! You'll find me in the paint department, staring in bewilderment at the different choices of white. ;)
ReplyDeleteLove your display, both in the cloche and in the china cabinet. Beautiful white ironstone!...Christine
ReplyDeleteHi Kim,
ReplyDeleteI just love how you have accessorized your hutch! I really like how you added the frame to the mix, thanks for the inspiration! I adore cloches, and yours look wonderful. I have one, now I want more! I also really like the moss & other greenery you used. Gorgeous!
It turned out great! I can't get over how you can paint things to look like they were made to be white!! I am hoping to do some white in a hutch for my kitchen but not too much as my color scheme is very warm and darker so I don't want too much contrast! Love the placement of everything! I find that the hardest. I have to change things around continuously until I find the right setting!
ReplyDeleteLovely ! I love the contrast too.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I am still drooling over all your longaberger! You have some really great finds. I need to go shopping with you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful display, Kim, and thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog.
ReplyDeleteBTW if you want to see a really cool cloche display, check this lady out: http://frenchessence.blogspot.com/2010/07/what-you-can-find-when-you-arent-even.html But before you visit, steel yourself: as nice as she is, you may wind up hating her!
Love the bust in your cloche, and the touch of nature in the tiny one. What a fabulous display on your hutch and I love that you incorporated your cloches. Gorgeous. Thanks so much for joining the party. Fabulous inspiration and eye candy. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteWhat a great look and I just love your hutch! You have such a decorator's talent!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, I am happy I found your blog!
Nancy
I think your hutch looks perfect. I don't know what it was like before, but I know it looks beautiful now. As a basket weaver, I just couldn't help but notice the great basket you have featured in the back. I love that.
ReplyDeleteEach cloche you shared with us is beautiful and magical too, Char
Pretty cloche designs! Love the bust! The white and green looks beautiful in the hutch!

Love the whites with the tiny bit of greens...I put green with everything these days!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! I love everything - you have completely inspired me!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous display. The hutch itself is so nice but your use of clean whites with punches of green are seriously pleasing!
ReplyDeleteYour hutch looks so pretty! Everything fits just so nicely!

ReplyDeleteOoo---I love white!! You are great at creating vignettes. :) Thanks so much for the visit yesterday!
ReplyDeleteThe green and white looks so fresh!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful hutch, Kim! I love all the white - it's so classic looking. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your hutch. I'm in love!!!! And I love the thrift store bust under the cloche. I have the same one. Well pretty much the same one. Thanks for visiting my blog & commenting on my cloches. I still have my patriotic decor up. I've been so lazy the past few weeks. Summer heat does that to me. So does winter cold, fall crispness & spring perfection weather. Heck, I'm just lazy. lol. Can you imagine what I could get done if I wasn't?
ReplyDeleteThis hutch is beautiful! I love how you've accessorized it, you're so talented!
ReplyDeleteI love the stark white against the dark. So classic.
ReplyDeleteI love the whites. White is really growing on me! Love the purity .
ReplyDeleteWhat awesom white hutch decor, I love the way you have it displayed. Happy White Wednesday! Mary
