Fabric Fun Thursday No. 8

Welcome to Fabric Fun Thursday!  I'm still out, probably hiking in the beautiful hills of Tennessee near Gatlinburg.  Hopefully without too many aches and pains!  Plus, I am taking pictures of the beautiful home we're staying in.

Let's take a look at some of your fabric projects from last week...

Janet gave you step-by-step instructions for making this lovely monogrammed lampshade at The Decorating Diaries.  She used osnaburg fabric and stitched on a custom "J".

Okay, I'm a sucker for something this pretty made out of such modest items--you got it--burlap, muslin, buttons--a pillow to swoon over made by Ann at Make the Best of Things.
These were featured in my side bar this week.  Adorable dolls made for a Haiti orphanage, Eve used her fabric scraps and some free time to stitch these up for children who don't have much of anything.  Stop by Eve's blog, Eve's House, if you want more details on crafting and sending dolls, yourself.  Wonderful job, Eve!

Reminder:  These do not have to be items made by you.  If you have pretty table linens, vintage linens, got a good deal on something, please link up!

Link up rules.  Please...
1.  Link your post, not your general URL.  (Click on the title of your post.  Copy and paste from your address bar.)
2.  Link to this blog with my FFT button or refer to this event in your post so others can  join in the fun.
3.  Commit to making one, two, or three new friends by mingling -- Everyone loves comments!  You'll be glad you did--there is so much talent out there.
