Instead, I get to cross off a Smackdown item from my sidebar list.
This is a $2 thrift tray that I did not get a "before" photo of (why?-I'll probably find it on some directory that I didn't want it downloaded on - tell me other people do that). It was a darker brown with a pear decal on it.
It got primer and Heirloom white. Then I decopaged a beautiful Graphics Fairy picture on it, the color just wasn't right.
So I added mocha glaze. Still not right.
Then I added a little black paint smeared around. Still. Not. Right.
The white paper was too white against the Heirloom white, so I looked around for white paint - oops, only glossy white. Finally, I found some white fabric paint - that'll do. It's better. I'm glad it was only a $2 tray. I do like it, now. Tres chic!
