Vignettes at Marilyn's Open House

You are invited to tag along as

Cheap Chic Home

goes on a field trip to Marilyn's house.

Marilyn is a dear friend who sells Longaberger.

This is her most recent open house.

This is your chance to enjoy her skills at creating

fab vignettes

and

pro floral arrangements.

(Well, and seeing some of her Longaberger collection!)

The above is a formal floral china arrangement.

Things to note:
  • contrasts of smooth and rough
  • round and straight edges
  • replication of florals in cutout and china pattern
  • replication of flowers in arrangement, needlepoint, and pattern on china

The above pretty, casual fall arrangement includes a pilgrim girl, acorn and

Marilyn used her

china teacup holder

and replaced them with

colored bowls!

Wouldn't you love to lift up this centerpiece with a plate in it and replace it with

a golden brown Thanksgiving turkey?

Norman Rockwell would be envious!

Note the mixture of reds:
  • raspberry placemats
  • paprika plates
  • red applies
  • berries
Don't be afraid to start mixing your favorite shades of color.

Lastly, how cuuute is this display for Christmas??!

I hope you've enjoyed our tour of

pumpkins, pilgrims and

peppermint!

Thanks, Marilyn -

can't wait till your next open house!
