It's a Sign!

With some Pinterest inspiration and a "problem" to solve, all of the elements came together in splendid fashion.  The problem?  Occasionally, someone needs to use the restroom at Consign DeZigns, and doesn't know quite where to look.

Solution!  A few years ago, the Strapping Lad's girlfriend painted this wooden plaque for my powder room door at home.   (For the record, I tried to paint it, but it just wasn't "happening".)   I had taken it down awhile ago.

So, after a few people asked me about the restroom, I remembered the plaque--and this Pinterest inspiration--CLICK HERE.  Sorry, I don't know how to get the actual picture here.  I guess I'm rusty with the ins and outs of blogging/pictures, etc.  I tried!  And, tried!

The same swirly iron hanger that Destiny used was ordered from Hobby Lobby, and I was "in business..."  The original pin used a custom-cut decal, she also shadowed the edges with a dark paint, which I like, but may not get around to doing.  Darling Husband hung it up for me (disregard holes that did not work, because he was trying to drill through a metal support).

Before--Hide and go seek--

After!  The sun really shines around it!

This is one of my favorite little areas that you may be able to see peeking out in the prior photo.  I know the long shot looks like a sea of furnishings, but it really is arranged "boutique-like!"

Another fun spot that is behind the camera in the long shot.  Command Hooks got placed on the window frame to hang some light-weight art.  Plus, I wanted to show you a little more of my store {wink!}
