Fabric Fun Thursday No. 5

Welcome to Fabric Fun Thursday. A place where we fabric lovers can get together and get some ideas of how other blogger divas are using their great fabrics. Join in and link up with the fun.

My contribution this week is made from the silk I mentioned in a recent post.  Since it was the end of the bolt, I got it for half-price (!) providing I purchased the entire amount--so I got two yards for the price of one--aww, shucks.  (You can't beat the shimmery richness of real silk--I'm just sayin'.)
Does it look familiar?  You've seen the same pattern before, and warning you'll be seeing it again.  Another hint:  It will show up in my next post which will be my Duck Challenge  reveal (You can still weigh in on the duck challenge through Thursday, winner will be announced Friday.) I can't wait for you to come back then.

Here are some features from last week's Par-Tay!
First off, I want to thank Suzanne from From The Heart.  She is a new blogger and she's really rockin' her handmade apron.
Bethany from The Paper Pony, copies this bunting because it was sold out in a catalog - Way to go!
Pam at Bibbidi Bobbi Beautiful, worked her magic (ha ha, I bet she gets that one all the time) on these slip covers.  Not only does she line up all of the diamond patterns (which is not as easy at it looks, you know--don't try this at home) plus drew us step-by-step patterns if we want to make our own.  Thanks, Pam.
Lastly, this project gets my top vote for smart and beautiful recycling--Tami at A Girls Gotta Nest, uses an old jeans pant leg, a former sheet and some old lace.  Awesome work, Tami, I can't wait to see what else you come up with--you're like the "MacGyver" of sewing!

If you were featured you can get your button from my Button tab underneath my blog header.
