...and this was one of them!
This morning when I was going on my power walk surfing the net and cleaning up around the house updating my podcasts, I decided it might be fun to check out GW today. I didn't hold out much hope since today is Monday and I figured all of the good stuff would have gotten snatched up over the weekend.
Happily I was wrong!
In the above photo, you can see a dark (and somewhat dreary looking) green Christmas tree. I do believe it will end up looking somewhat like my French Pistachio clock! The angel (about 12") is one of those that are porcelain, that will probably end up on the tree with no modifications at all ~ smile!

I'm starting a plate collection for a short, long niche I have. These are salad-sized plates ($2 & $1).
You will probably recognize the SL display cone ($2!). And if you've spend any time blogging around you probably have a good idea what I will do with the cheese dome and resin candle stick. (I pretty sure I'll be linking up with A Stroll Thru Life's Cloche Party!--see side bar.)
This was one of my favorite finds of the day. I circled the store a couple of times before I picked them up. It is two handmade drapery panels (approx. 4 yds. of home dec fabric for $12! ) The fabric is somewhat brighter in person (I couldn't get a great photo of it), so I will probably hang on to it till after the holidays ~ when visions of springtime start dancing in my head.
