The Little Pumpkin That Could + Photo Flip

This is a tale about my little white pumpkin.  I know it's not amazing or spectacular, but I love it anyway.  You know how some of those projects are.  Right?  I found this pumpkin awhile ago at GW, stained orange.  (No before photo--I took one.  I don't take as much time with "before" photos, so they're often blurry.  Like I'm walking by.  While waving.  And chewing gum.   Texting, and trying to snap the photo...)

So.  I did the same ol', same ol'.  I then made a trip to Old Time Pottery.  Two trips.

I purchased four picks and cut or separated them all apart to get individual stems.  Of course, I {heart} with ones with the white-ish berries, since they tie everything together.

Before I painted her, I filled in the separations with wood filler.  I think she kept cracking in spite of my efforts.  See the crrrraaaack, above?

What can I say?  It's still pumpkin love. Wanna see the "before and after"?????  Roll your mouse over the following picture...

I kill me!  I like them both {smiley face}!  Photo flip instructions courtesy of Sneaky Momma Blog Design. (I'm such a dork, I rolled over this bunches of times while I was in the preview screen.)  For more fall decor see my thrifty hutch post.

I hope I haven't missed all of the fall parties--I'm linking here:

They look great. I like the rollover! Might have to learn how to do that. I did it several times on your post. It was so fun.

Hi! Thanks so much for coming over to join the party today! I absolutely love this pumpkin arrangement and think it looks so elegant in those tones. This is a great way to show that decorating for Fall doesn't always have to be in the traditional color pallette. Thanks for the inspiration! :-)
